Breakfast, pool and staff were all kind. The morning we left I noticed a double charge on both rooms. At that point the staff was kind and said the charge should come off with in 10 business days. Sadly it has been a nightmare getting our money back since. It was a nice stay but this definitely is something people should know. I have not found anyone to look into the matter. Rather fluffed it off like it was no big deal. To me being charged twice on each room is a big deal!

The receptionist at the hotel was great, my shuttle driver didn’t show up and she got permission to drive me to the hotel herself. She was very nice to a flight anxious older guy😋. I would definitely stay there again. The room was bigger than my apartment.

It where the hub is for shopping in the area and right off the turnpike and interstate highway. Close to all kinds of entertainment venues and museums, plus during the summer the Sea Dogs triple A baseball team plays nearby and also the Portland Pirates Hockey. There is plenty of things to do for all ages.

Not having been to South Portland prior to this trip I was very happy we did make it. Just coming from Massachusetts it is a very short ride and well worth a trip there is much to see in South Portland. Everywhere we ate the food was wonderful and the people were friendly. Very easy access to major highways to get to other places in Maine. we did not of course see all we wanted to in a short weekend but we certainly will be back. We did not make it to the Seaport as we visited mostly in town with shopping etc. next trip will definitely be to seaport, but the Views on the way home Appear to be a very good place to visit.

Portland is centrally located to visit those areas in Northern Maine. Portland is an interesting city. I wanted to take a ferry tour, but most of the services were stopped due to Covid-19. The people were very friendly, and the restaurants were plentiful. Cape Elizabeth, right next door, was lovely.
Nothing. This was the worst hotel. Nasty, dirty, and rude, unprofessional staff. Don’t waste your money booking this hotel unless you want to waste a full evening of vacation trying to resolve issues with the room only to get nothing resolved and be out money and get stuck paying for a hotel room you didn’t even stay in. Don’t waste your time here. The staff does not even show an ounce of sympathy.
BEST breakfast out of many hotels that I've stayed in over the past few months. LOTS of places to sit down and eat. Very helpful and friendly people at the front desk. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. HUGE shower. Big dispensers of shampoo, hand soap, lotions, etc. Hotel is 4 floors and was full but elevators were very fast and efficient. Huge window in the room.
Very well thought out minimalist hotel, had lots to offer. Modern, Trendy, and clean. Comfortable rooms and great bathrooms. Excellent lobby and breakfast buffet. We only stayed here one night during our travels, but wished we could’ve stayed one more night as it was welcoming and comfortable. Will stop here again on our next trip through.
Great hotel for a couple of nights, especially when visiting Portland by car. Many breakfast and snack options, complementary coffee and tea, great lounge area with a pool table, as well as a decent gym. Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms.
The room was very good. Breakfast was what is now standard but very adequate for present day hotels. Location is good, just a shuttle/cab away but far enough to filter out jet noise and right at the mall for those who want ‘a taste of Maine’.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel. The front desk staff was very nice with good customer service skills. we were disappointed that our rooms were not cleaned and the trash emptied after being told it would happen.
Stayed here for two days and we loved it. We had stayed in a more expensive hotel a few weeks prior and this one was better by far. I don't know why the reviews are so bad. Staff were friendly and nice. Room was great.
Everyone enjoyed the breakfast, which was fairly standard hotel fare. The kids enjoyed the pool. There were bowls and silverware stocked in the room which was very convenient.
The location was great. By car it was a nice balance between Portland Old Port and the Mall area of South Portland. Breakfast was simple but very good and best of all, free!!
The staff was welcoming. The hotel has recently been renovated. The room was very clean. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable. It is a great value for the price
